An e-Transfer casino uses the same Interac e-Transfer you use to pay a friend back for dinner. The difference is who starts the transfer. Between friends, you open your bank app, type their email and send. At most casino cashiers we read, the casino starts it: you enter the amount and your own Interac details, the cashier sends a request, and you approve it in your bank.

Two ways a casino uses Interac e-Transfer
| Flow | Who starts it | What you enter | Typical at |
|---|---|---|---|
| Payment request | the casino cashier | your Interac-linked email or mobile number | cashiers that ask for Interac-linked details, such as the Terdersoft casinos |
| Send to casino | you, in your bank app | the casino's or processor's email, amount, security question unless Autodeposit | cashiers that show you a recipient address |
The Canadian cashier strings served by Ringospin, SpinGranny, AFKspin and Spinwinera contain input hints for an "Interac-linked" email and phone number. That wording only makes sense for the request flow: the cashier needs the address your bank has registered for e-Transfer so that the request reaches the right person.

Autodeposit and the security question
When you send an Interac e-Transfer to someone who has not registered for Autodeposit, your bank asks for a security question, and the recipient needs the answer to accept the money. Interac's own advice is to have the recipient register for Autodeposit, for convenience and added security. At a casino, that means two things:
- In the request flow you never set a question. You approve the casino's request; the money goes to the processor directly.
- In the send flow, check whether a question is needed. If the cashier gives you a question and answer, use exactly those. Never send a security answer by chat or email to anyone who claims to be casino support.
Open the cashier and send your first Interac e-Transfer.
Which casinos name Interac e-Transfer
| Casino | What we found |
|---|---|
| Ringospin, SpinGranny, AFKspin, Spinwinera | Interac e-Transfer trademark notice and Interac-linked email and phone fields in the Canadian cashier strings |
| Hellspin | Interac in the help pages' list of withdrawal methods and in the footer |
| iWild Casino | Interac label in the cashier interface |
| Slotsgem | not named; the cashier code it loads contains a constant for an Interac method used by the platform, which is not proof the method is offered |
| Vave | no Interac: accounts are crypto-only (T&C 5.1) |
The cashier strings do not say whether the Interac method on the Terdersoft casinos is for deposits, withdrawals or both. That is the question to ask support before the first deposit. More on both directions in Interac deposits and Interac withdrawals.
What e-Transfer changes for you as a player
Your bank is the gatekeeper. You approve every deposit in your own bank app, with your bank's login and two-step check. The casino never sees your banking password.
Your bank's limit is the ceiling. If your daily send limit is lower than the deposit, the transfer stops before it reaches the casino. See Interac limits and fees.
Your statement shows it. An e-Transfer appears on your bank statement like any other. That is good for keeping track and worth knowing if someone else sees your statements.
Names must match. A transfer from an account in another person's name is the usual reason a casino holds or returns a deposit.
A first e-Transfer, step by step
- Check your bank's daily e-Transfer limit.
- Open the casino cashier and pick Interac.
- Enter the amount; note the casino's minimum.
- Enter the email or mobile number registered with your bank for e-Transfer.
- Approve the request in your bank app within the time the cashier shows.
- Keep your bank's reference until the balance appears.

Questions and answers
- What is an e-Transfer casino?
A casino whose cashier accepts Interac e-Transfer, the bank-to-bank transfer you approve in your online banking. Canadian cashiers of Ringospin, SpinGranny, AFKspin and Spinwinera carry the Interac e-Transfer trademark notice and ask for your Interac-linked email or mobile number.
- Why does the casino ask for my Interac email?
So it can send you a payment request, or match your transfer to your account. It must be the address or number your bank has registered for Interac e-Transfer, not just any email.
- Do I need a security question?
Not when the recipient uses Autodeposit or when you approve a payment request. Interac recommends Autodeposit because no password has to be shared.
