Crash games are rounds of a few seconds each in which a multiplier climbs and then stops. Aviator from Spribe made the format popular; dozens of studios now make their own versions, with rockets, planes, balloons or graphs. The casino lists them under fast games, instant games or crash.
We counted the fast-game categories and read the cashback rules on 9 October 2026.

How a crash round is priced

The stopping point is random, but its distribution is set so that a stake returns a fixed share over the long run. That makes every cash-out target equally priced. Our arithmetic for a game returning 97%:
| Auto cash-out at | Wins roughly | Pays | Long-run return |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.10x | 88 rounds in 100 | 1.1x | 97% |
| 2x | 48.5 rounds in 100 | 2x | 97% |
| 10x | 9.7 rounds in 100 | 10x | 97% |
| 100x | about 1 round in 100 | 100x | 97% |
The column that changes is how often you win. The column that does not is what it costs. A 1.10x target feels safe because it wins most rounds; it loses in larger steps when it loses. A 100x target feels like a lottery because it is one, at the same price.
Many crash games also publish a way to check each round after it ends, a hash of the result committed before the round starts. It proves the stop was not moved after you bet. It does not change the return.
Speed is the real risk
A crash round lasts a few seconds plus a short betting window. At CA$5 a round and one round every fifteen seconds or so, you stake well over CA$1,000 an hour. At a 97% return, the expected cost of that hour is in the tens of dollars, and the swings are much larger. Two bets per round, which many games allow, double it.
Set a round limit or a time limit before you start. Deposit limits are available in the account settings at the casinos on our list; see responsible gambling.

Crash games and casino promotions
Casinos often fence crash games off. iWild Casino excludes crash games from its 10% daily and 10% weekly cashback, together with live games and baccarat, except for VIP players (bonus policy 5). Bonus wagering terms often weight fast games low or exclude them; check the contribution table before you play a crash game with a bonus balance.
Paying in and out
Crash players tend to deposit small amounts often, which suits Interac: the Terdersoft casinos give a typical minimum deposit of $30 and a minimum withdrawal of $75 in their Canadian help strings. Crypto deposits suit crash games as well, since several of them are built around crypto stakes; see crypto casinos in Canada.
Where to play
Slotsgem has the largest fast-game section we counted and accounts in Canadian dollars. Hellspin carries Spribe and has clear payout rules. Choose the game by its printed return, set a target you are comfortable with, and keep the rounds counted.

Questions and answers
- How does a crash game work?
A multiplier rises from 1.00x and stops at a random point decided before the round starts. You set a stake, then cash out manually or automatically at a chosen multiplier. If you cash out before the stop, you are paid your stake times that multiplier.
- Is there a strategy that beats crash games?
No. Whatever auto cash-out you choose, the game's return stays the same over the long run; a low target wins often and pays little, a high target wins rarely and pays a lot. The return is printed in the game's rules.
- Do crash games count for cashback and bonuses?
Not at every casino. iWild Casino excludes crash games, live games and baccarat from its daily and weekly cashback, except for VIP players (bonus policy 5). Check the bonus terms for crash and fast-game exclusions.
