The marketing line that the terms contradict
iWild's marketing text says it does not require KYC even for large winnings. Its terms say verification may be requested at the first withdrawal and at any time after, and that no cashouts happen until the account is fully verified (7.3, 7.10). When the two disagree, the terms apply.
Why crypto casinos often verify later
A crypto payout goes to a wallet address, not a bank account in your name, so the casino has fewer automatic checks to rely on and usually verifies by risk: large amounts, unusual patterns, bonus abuse. That is why a crypto-only casino such as Vave may pay smaller amounts without documents. It is a practice, not a promise, and the terms keep the right to ask.
Interac is the opposite case: an Interac payment is tied to a bank account in your name, and the Terdersoft casinos ask for verification before any withdrawal.
Verify your account before the first big win, not after it.
The practical answer
If you want the least friction:
- Play in crypto at a casino that verifies by risk, and keep withdrawals moderate.
- Or verify early at a casino that verifies everyone, so that the first payout is not the moment of the check.
- Never use someone else's payment method or details. A name mismatch is the most common reason a payout is held, at every casino.
Privacy and documents
If you do send documents, use the casino's upload page, not email. Hellspin wants photos rather than scans or PDFs (T&C 12). Not in the terms of any casino we read. Some verify later than others: crypto casinos often pay smaller amounts before asking for documents, while Hellspin requires documents before the first withdrawal and iWild before any cashout (7.10).
- Can I withdraw from a crypto casino without ID?
Often for smaller amounts. In our own test at Vave on 28 August 2026, a payout of up to 5,000 USDT went through without an ID check. Vave's terms still allow verification before any withdrawal.
- Why does a casino ask for ID after I win?
Because the terms let it verify at any time, and a large withdrawal is the usual trigger. That is why we recommend verifying early, while the balance is small.
