ETH or a stablecoin on Ethereum
ETH's price moves against the Canadian dollar, so an ETH balance is a second bet on top of your play; see Bitcoin casinos for the arithmetic. USDC and USDT on Ethereum keep the dollar value, at the same network speed.
Gas and the network choice
The same USDT can travel on Ethereum, Polygon or Tron. On Ethereum, the fee depends on network demand at the moment you send; on Polygon and Tron it is usually a small fraction of that. For small and medium casino payments, the cheaper network is almost always the better choice, provided both your wallet and the casino support it.
